Before we opened our doors, we participated in a Vocation Vacation with the Pearl Bakery in Portland, Oregon in 2005. While there we worked with Tim Healea to learn about the world of Artisan Bread Baking. We were interviewed for Brian Kurth’s book about our Vocation Vacations experience in “Test Drive Your Dream Job.” We have now joined with Pivot Planet (formerly know as Vocation Vacation) as a mentor for others who would like to try out the baker’s life. They talk about our story on their website where we continue to mentor other businesses.
